Here is some information regarding the Jerusalem Floor Hockey League that you might find helpful
How long is the season?
The season runs throughout the winter, from about a month after Sukkoth until Purim for a total of 4 – 5 months. Each team should play 7 or 8 games with a few “bye†weeks, as well as the top 8 teams make it in for the playoffs.
When are the games played?
The games take place on Thursday and Saturday nights. Thursday night games start at 10:30, and 12. Saturday night games are scheduled for 8pm, 9:30pm and 11pm but are adjusted when Sabbath gets later.
Can I reschedule my games?
Schedule for the entire season will be put up before the season begins. We apologise, but we cannot reschedule games due to number of complication this causes. If teams cannot make it they will receive a forfeit for that game.
Where is the gym located?
The Gym is located In Kiryat Yoval, and the address is 32 Zangwell. It is about 15minutes from the central bus station, and is accessible by the following bus lines 18, 24, 24, 42 and others.
What equipment do I need?
The league provides full equipment for the goalie only. Players are responsible for their own equipment including sticks. Helmets are highly recommended but not mandated due to the difficulty of finding them in Israel. However players who do not use helmets must take full responsibility for this decision.

How many players per a team?
All games are a 4 on 4 plus goalies. Two lines appropriate so most teams have 10 players. If many players can’t make it to every game you should have more players on your team. There is no limit to the number of players, but are certain rules regarding the roster such as players cannot play for two teams, and there cannot be any new players after half a season. Contact us for more rules regarding the roster.
What is the Game play like?
Games run for an hour each, with about 40 min of game time split into three periods. The league is a no contact league, and excessive physicality will be penalized.
Sponsor information?
The cost for a team is 800$. Sponsors get there logo featured on the website as well as team Jerseys. We should have the standings published weekly in the JPOST.
What if their problems?
We urge you to contact us if any issues arise before or during the season. Please do not delay in contacting us by letting us know as soon as something happens, this way we can work to fix any issues as soon as possible. Feedback is also always appreciated, as we work hard to continuously improve the league and the hockey experience in Israel.
What if we drop out?
No refunds will be issued. Teams except full responsibility for payment in full once they register. If sponsors fall through or other issues arise contact us as soon as possible and we will work something reasonable out.
Where can I contact you?
Our website provides more information as well as provides schedules, team standing and sponsor information. SMS reminders are sent out weekly, informing teams of their scheduled games.
